Hempstead Turnpike - Santini field entrance - present day picture..

This is a remaining Santini sub base entrance from Hempstead Tpke. The Officers Club would be just west of it. The Officers mess would be just south of the Officers club. Batchelor officers quarters would be east of this road. This road was blocked off and only recently opened to provide a driveway for an office behind the restaurant area. I need to take a better shot of it.
